That chicken is fierce! The autumn leaf is a wonderful shot with the depth of non-focus (or possibly non-depth of focus). I love it.

Gorgeous shots. The blue really caught my eye. I don’t know if I’m a bit tired, but I read the challenge as may/might cloze up, so I was intrigued to see what you had. An aha or dah moment.

Someday you have to tell me how you get those spider webs to show up that well. Every time I try to shoot them, they seem to disappear into the background. Very impressive spider web and one glorious chicken or is that a rooster?
Happy May!!

Lighting has something to do with it, but mostly we are damp enough in the mornings we have a layer of water on them. So really there is no trick, except our nature around here. 😀

We used to get morning mist, though not necessarily dew. These days, it’s either raining — almost every day for more than a month (we can’t do anything moderately it seems) — OR it’s full sun. We get morning mist more in the winter, especially in February and March — but the spiders aren’t out yet. I thought maybe it was the angle at which you shot it or a specific lens. Oh well. I’ll just have to hope for a misty day with spider webs 😀
