Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). Please use your archived photos or find some old favorite photos if you like. Feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.
Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers. To see entire list of accepted flowers, click here. Please do not submit photos of trees that don’t show colorful blooms or autumn colors. Leaf close ups are always welcome.

What an amazing dahlia, Cee! I just love the texture you captured in the image. Here is mine this week–you guessed it–sunflowers for my yellow color challenge! https://secondwindleisure.com/2023/08/13/sunday-stills-monthly-color-challenge-are-you-all-in-for-yellow/

That’s a big load for a stem to carry. What a beauty.

Swan Island cuts their stems back at an early age and when they grow back they are really strong and can hold the heavier blooms. I read how they did it one year. 😀 😀
