LOVE the first one — the color, the gash, the boards pulled out at the bottom, those dried up vines snaking their way upward. GREAT capture, Cee!

Who doesn’t love a good door?! I posted about windows and doors a while back. I don’t want to repeat the post but I mentioned it in your post here because I think it is relevant. I would argue that France has some of the most amazing doors to photograph! Everywhere you went there was a lion door knocker or some ornate woodwork that left my mouth agape.

Where I live doors are quite blah and normal. Compared to Europe nothing ornate or older than 50 years or so.

I feel the same way here in California. Blah doors. I’m not sure why people don’t have more interest in the beauty of their doors. I suppose our architecture here is just too new. Regardless, it sure it fun when you run across something interesting wherever you are. A good barn door. An old door with old paint. A brightly colored door. A door that hasn’t been opened in many years…who knows where the next interesting door may lie. 🙂 thanks again for your lovely And interesting challenges and inspiration.

Love that green door because I’m sitting here wondering what or who is passing through the broken part. 🙂
