Canby Fire Station and fire hydrant.
This series I call Odd Twists meaning we are looking for the bizarre and the common things we don’t always take photos of. This week the topic is Fire Trucks, Fire Houses, Fire Hydrant basically anything to do with putting fires out. Use your imagination for this theme. The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.
Go through you photo archives and see what photos you have that fits the current week’s challenge, or better yet grab you camera and take a new photo! ENJOY and have FUN.

Great photos, old fire hydrants seem worth preserving for their orginality.

Greetings Cee!! Hello Canby Fire Department from the Big Apple aka New York City!! I salute all Firefighters and Love them! They are brave and courageous men and Women!!
Here is my entry: https://roamingurbangypsy.com/2017/07/25/cees-fun-foto-challenge-fire-trucks-fire-houses-fire-hydrant/
I hope you don’t mind but I added Fire Escapes which are as the name suggestions escape ladders for apartment dwellers to exit the building in case of fire. However fire escapes are only on older buildings not the new fancy high rises.

Firefighters are heroes. They are the first at most disasters and are there for us. I liked your fire escape addition.

Mine is almost a fire truck – just lacking wheels, I guess! https://travelwithintent.com/2017/07/25/fdny-water-street-art-brooklyn/

Oh I was just thinking I needed to take a photo of a local fire station a few blocks from my home. Now you’ve given me just the inspiration to do that.

Clever the mailbox on top of a hydrant, but what would happen if there was a real fire and they needed to open the hydrant? Would the mail get wet?? (LOL)
Anyway, this is my contribution:
