I love benches! don’t know why, but I do. Maybe because they just invite you to sit down and catch your breath! 🙂

Hi Cee, I like it when I read your suggestion and I think, “I know just which photo I’m going to use.”
Many times I think, “I don’t have anything for that.” Then I go hunting and surprise. There it is.
Have a great week. ;0)

Summertime is perfect bench time 🙂 I realized that Garry had taken a few dozen “bench pictures” the last time we were out … and I hadn’t processed almost any of them. So he’s the star of this show — tomorrow!

I checked up on the Dorymen’s Association and what I learned is that it is charitable organisation in the northwest of the USA. I found doryboats (on their site) but what are (or were) doryboats used for and what did dorymen do? Catch John Dorys? I’m intrigued although their bench doesn’t look to comfy. I much prefer the white one in the third photo.

Great pictures, Cee! I had to look carefully at the last one – it looked like just a slab of wood at first. The shadows that fall across it make it a very interesting composition.

The park grass looked greener, the park benches looked better and the flowers were trying harder. https://photographyocd.com/2018/07/26/cees-black-white-photo-challenge-benches/
