Here is my entry for Becky’s for July Square Perspectives challenge.
Doesn’t this look like I found this grass and other little plants growing in a tree trunk that is down in the woods and nature is slowly growing back.
This is another photo I took with this photo below with the same perspective just standing back a few feet. The old growth log is roughly 4 feet in diameter. I took these photos at the wood carvers shop this past weekend.
Now to get you started here are a few perspective definitions;
- Art – the method by which solid objects drawn or painted on a flat surface are given the appearance of depth and distance.
- Geometry – the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away and the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance.
- Point of View – a particular way of considering (looking at) something or the capacity to view things in their relative importance
- Vista – seeing something over distance or time
I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

I do love how nature will use any medium that will sustain life and it start anew. Whether photo trickery or real, the idea is real. Nature will survive.
