Here is my entry for Becky’s for July Square Perspectives challenge.
I usually only go to the beach between autumn and early spring. I don’t like crowds. Here are a few different perspectives of beaches in Oregon.
The first one was taken from a hotel that was located on a cliff, Lincoln City.
This photo was taken at D River Beach, Lincoln City. The winter storms oftentimes brings in great driftwood.
This photo is getting close to Newport in Oregon.
Now to get you started here are a few perspective definitions;
- Art – the method by which solid objects drawn or painted on a flat surface are given the appearance of depth and distance.
- Geometry – the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away and the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance.
- Point of View – a particular way of considering (looking at) something or the capacity to view things in their relative importance
- Vista – seeing something over distance or time
I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Beautiful, Cee! I have seen very little of Oregon – I’d love to take the coastal road from California north to Washington!

You will see some amazing views…basically from north of Santa Barbara CA all the way up. You’ll also get close to the redwood you will need to check those out too.

Gorgeous Cee, I’m like you an out of season beach fan. The second one I think is my favourite
