On the Hunt for Joy Challenge: Turn off annoying alerts

The topic for this week is off annoying alerts for the joy of it.  I really don’t use my phone for reminders, appointments or email. So fortunately I don’t have any alarms to turn off or change. I rarely get phone calls. Now Chris’s phone is another manner.

So I decided I would post photos and sounds videos that I like for this week. I decided to use nature sounds.

The next few weeks concentrate on small strategies for technology.

Tip from Ingrid Fetell Lee: Turn off annoying alerts:  Go through your devices and listen to all the notification sounds your apps make. Change them to sounds you like, or get rid of them entirely.

Feel free to use your photo archives and see what photos you have that fits the current week’s challenge, or even better yet grab you camera and take a new photo!  ENJOY and have FUN.

Upcoming Topics (see Challenge home page for entire list)

  1. Love the breaking waves and the train, Cee. I shut of notifications for WP because I was going on all the time to see what the newest comment was. MUCH more relaxing. I stay off my phone for long periods of time and then catch up in batches.

Award Free Blog

I appreciate you thinking of me for an award. I have had a lot of fun with awards in the past. I think awards are a fantastic tool to help out people who are just starting their blogging adventure. I've been here awhile now.

My best award is that you somehow still come to visit me when ever you get a chance. It's a thrill and joy to share my photography and life with all of you. Thanks.
