  6. I love this song, and actually had never heard Johnny Cash singing it! The photos are lovely, too – sharing a day in the sun with someone you love, just enjoying life and the world in the moment. Great choice!

  12. I actually can sing all the words to this song, which dates from my childhood. It originated in 1939, when I was five years old…I don’t remember the first version. I love most everything Johnny Cash ever sang… I think my favorite of all is “Islands in the Sun,” his duet with Dolly Parton.

    The photos are great…I love the first one with the incoming tide.
