FOTD – December 20 – A Purple Poinsettia?

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.

Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

Yes, poinsettias can be painted. I just don’t know how. Other colors may appear in the next few days.

  23. Unusual, but lovely. Wonder if they started out as white ones.
    I remember an experiment I did with my kids where we split the stem of a tulip and put each half of the stem in water with different colours added and got a tulip with two colours. 🙂
