FOTD – January 30 – Dahlia

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.

Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

This dahlia is one of my favorites.

  23. White on white — like this Dahlia is, in my opinion — the most difficult photo to process. This dahlia is absolutely perfect. I don’t see how it could be any better!

    • This one particular dahlia i so perfectly white, it is easy to photograph in the shade. I so agree that white is difficult to master. I probably play more with white balance than anything else on my photos. This one I didn’t have to.
