Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

I’ve never been able to successfully grow alliums. This is a really great close-up.

You will have to show us the pretty white flower when it blooms Cee. Does it’s stalk grow 48” with the bloom on top or does it have multiple stalks that reach as 48”? Lastly, does each stalk have just one bloom or do each of those little pods produce a flower? Pretty interesting flora.

Actually these aren’t white, there is some raspberry color along with the white. But then you had no way of knowing that. Single stalk and very thin too. These alliums are only about an 1″ in diameter.

Brilliant shot, Cee 👏 Love the crispness of the allium against the bokeh’d tick bush 😃

I used my good (expensive) glass lens. Makes a difference 😀
