This challenge accepts the following types of photography:
- Black and white photography
- Sepia tones (browns)
- Selective color with the majority of the photo being in black and white.

The textures and contrasts of sculptures and carvings work so well in black and white. Great topic, Cee!. It gave me a reason to revisit one of my favourite local places: Waverley Cemetery.

Would you believe I had to post this five times? The first time I had posted it before I realized it was the Black & White challenge, so i had to trash the post and go back and edit all the pictures. Then the next three times I kept forgetting to save the posts and so they vanished! On the fifth try, finally a success of sorts. That elephant statue is in downtown Portland, Oregon. It is green and looks almost like malachite.
